Location Question

Even though imdb lists quite a few locations for "Benefit of the Doubt", I still can't figure out where the scenes with Sutherland and his grandson have been filmed (in the first third of the movie)?
They walk on a sandy ground through a very narrow gorge with ancient paintings on the wall.
I would love to visit this place at some point.

In case somebody answers, I do check the message board on a regular basis.
