Before Bill Nye.

There was that Beakman guy.

I remember watching this show on Saturday mornings when I wasn't busy playing SNES games like Zelda: Link to The Past and Secret of Mana. Hmm, what else was on besides this back in 1993? Oh right, Sonic the Hedgehog! Anyone remember anything else? My sat-am memories are rather foggy.

Well, let's see:

There was Cro, COW Boys of Moo-Mesa, Sonic, Addams Family, Garfield and Friends, Tales from the Cryptkeeper, Taz-Mania, Ninja Turtles, Land of the Lost, Carmen Sandiego, X-Men and Bugs Bunny and Tweety.

Then we added The Tick, Bump in the Night, and ReBoot.

Then came Freakazoid!, Earthworm Jim, the Mask, Spider-Man, Life With Louie and Pinky and the Brain.

Then Superman, Goosebumps, Casper and Brand Spankin' New Doug.

And about that time Beakman was replaced by Winnie the Pooh.

I'm the best there is at what I do, and that ain't pretty.

Beakman's World came out before Bill Nye the Science guy series

However the character Billy Nye the Science guy was around since the 80s when Bill Nye was a regular on the show 'Almost Live'. After that he went on to be on the Back to the Future cartoon. Then he went on to make the Bill Nye the Science Guy series.

'Always Hold On To Smallville'
