My TIVO's been busy recording Beakman since I'd heard he'd returned, and I was eagerly awaiting the cycle to finish to get to Liza, but:
September 15th, 12:30 Fox (in NY) episode 126 (w/Josie)
September 22nd, 12:30 Fox (in NY) episode 401 (w/Phoebe).
I've been through both seasons both cycles (since I know I've been recording since the beginning of the year... more than 26 weeks). Why no Liza?
They hate her. Seriously.
Well, really seriously, I still think it has something to do with the fact that there are 2 seasons of Liza (39 episodes)...or it could be that Sony lost those eps or something...
Has anyone emailed them? Maybe if enough of us ask, they might give a response?
shareWell, really the only reason I'd e-mail them about Beakman is to yell at them again to put the whole shebang out on DVD, but...

There was/is some sort of dispute going on between the actress and the producers. Something to do with her residuals going to some charity/organiztion she supports. They wouldn't do it and she wouldn't sign off on permission for the repeats.

It's all like some bad movie.
Not at all true. An actor has no control over how their episodes are distributed.
Most likely, only a specific group of episodes was licensed - a cheaper deal.
MeTV is showing them in order & are up to the Liza episodes now.
