Some say it takes place before the series, some say right between the episodes when it was released (first and second seasons, 65th and 66th episode). Personally I would say it seems to fir as the last episode of the original animated series, before the "revamped" TNBA episodes begin.

shareIt’s possible. I don’t think the filmmakers or show runners really gave it much thought but it is possible. One way or another, we would be seeing Joker with an implant for several episodes whether this movie took place before the series, after season 1, or before the "New Adventures" series.
