why is it called The Bride with White Hair?

Why is she called a bride? She never gets married in the film, and there's no mention of her even wanting to get married at any point in the film. Shouldn't it be The Witch with White Hair? I mean, that's what the Chinese title is. Just nitpicking, that's all.
