Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew the meaning of the Nichang's name? I saw Forbidden Kingdom and became really intrigued and loved the character in this movie. I'd love to know what her name means. Can anyone help me out?

Ni in Chinese means: secondary rainbow, or to describe beautiful/colorful things, while Chang more refers to a skirt (worn in ancient China).

Depending on the exact pronounciation and characters used it could also be simply "Wild Girl".
