I know that author of the orginal novel that this movie was based has retired to australia, i imagine he has a ok command of english. Anyone in the world know if this book has ever been published in english?

Bump.....hey this is one of my all time favorite movies........it's just amazing and a definite must watch.......if anyone has a translation of the novel, please post it here......I'd love to read about it thanks.

The film is good, but the plot, and everything, is totally different from the novel.
