Similar in what way? Blast From The Past covers a very similar theme, but does it in a conventional Hollywood comedy way. As for tone, I don't know, BBB is a pretty unique mix of the grim and shocking with the funny and heartwarming.

Most of Harmony Korines older movies have a very similar suppressed feel to them (Gummo, Julien Donkey Boy, Mister Lonely.)
I would not recommend Blast From The Past.
hahaha i had forgotten about Blast From The Past so i looked it up and despite being a movie about a guy that have lived secluded from the real World and that he propably at some point Wears a gas mask in the movie i too really cant see no reason to recommend that movie not for this movie or for another. But Bad Boy Bubby is a pretty Unique movie experience as it was mentioned earlier on and offcourse some themes can be found in other movies but i doubt all of them in one pack.
