Cruder, More Violent Version of Being There

A clone of Being There, with a little Forrest Gump wrapped in crude violence and random, illogical scenes.

Really - a young, beautiful Salvation Army girl is going to have sex with a mute, barely functional, dirty street person who has apparently never brushed his teeth?

People take him in without question or purpose.

He's arrested for sexual assault, is sent to jail, where he is raped without protest, then released (by a warden who pays him out of his own pocket) and NOBODY tries to find out his identity, or where he came from?

He's taken from a church to a power generation plant (for no apparent reason other than impressive visuals), to hear a theological diatribe.

The scene on the docks with the kitten was out of continuity. Light changed and background people gone.

The band know he's a double killer, are desperate for money, but don't turn him in fr the huge reward?

The band gives him a microphone even though he can barely talk, but of course his random rants are seen as punk art.

A care facility takes in a random, dirty stranger to live with handicapped people. A staffer then not only tolerates his sexual impropriety, but bares her breasts to him and allows him to fondle the patients. Right.

Angel's parents begin a verbal assault on their daughter in front of a stranger, allow him to use vulgar language without reaction, but slap their daughter for being fat.

The end suddenly switches towards environmental essay.

It was interesting, but the many scenes that were so implausible ruined it.

It had potential, but was simply poorly made.
