Best Dolph Lundgren movie?

Hell I think so. The movie is such an adrenaline rush. The action is amazing, it has the raunciest PG-13 sex scene I have ever seen, and George Segal plays the most hateful villain ever. So glad this is getting the Bluray treatment. Not too many movie fans know about this movie. Hope that changes.

It was actually the one of my first Dolph Lundgren movies when I bought on DVD for 6.50 at walmart all those years ago, picked it up along with The Punisher (1989).

As fun as this movie is, I think that his best is actually Missionary Man. I can watch that non stop.

Nice to see more Pentathlon love! I pretty much agree with your list except I would put Command Performance among the best.

I admit I haven't watched "Red Scorpion" for a long time

I think it was Rated Cert 15 when I watched it

But whats butchered ? , Ive seen the Guy get his Arm Blown off at the end ..if that's what you meant.

I Do like Red Scorpion its a Dolph Classic ..I was contemplating sticking in the Best category...Maybe I should actually

But I seem to remember it dragging a little in the middle.

also I was disappointed with the fact the Brion James character seemed to Disappear and didn't return for the Climax.

So far for me, Men of War but that is probably because it had the best all-around production values I've seen in his movies yet, best directing and he was such a delicious age. (I'm female.) But all his stuff is interesting.

Saw most of Army of One on Movie Maze, which is essentially YouTube, and I think it must have been completely watered down; it seemed to lack some warehouse shootout others are mentioning on another thread, etc. But I thought the writing was awesome, and the directing perhaps not half bad. Do think Dolph should use stunt doubles if he doesn't, though. He's such a big guy, I don't think his running is often very believable. But I'm not trying to criticize. I watched the beginning again in this one and I felt it was plausible. I guess I especially liked in a way that he had gotten shot as he was escaping from the guards. It always seems so silly in movies that the good guys run and don't get shot yet they can always pick off the bad guys with a few well-aimed shots. At least, that's what my stepfather always used to complain about and it seems to me he was right. Your takes on that of course welcome.

P.S. Although I wasn't bothered by there not having been a warehouse shootout in the version I saw, it certainly would explain the title better.

I cant believe there was no shoot out in the version you watched !! was it aired on a Sunday morning on the Disney club or something ??

the shoot out goes on for a long time too ...that mustve been a very short version of Army of One you saw.
maybe it should've had the UK title of "Joshua Tree"

If youre still into Dolph films you should check out "I come in peace / Dark Angel "

I'd put it in his top 5, but it's not my favorite Dolph film.
