I saw this in the theaters

and I was the only one. I felt weird, as if I didn't have a life or something. At that time I would have never guessed it would have ended up with such a cult following. But I sat center middle in a theater that didn't have stadium seating. Not sure if anyone else knows what I mean but it felt like they were playing it just for me. Lol. Anyway, off to bed. Thundering and I'm going to finish the cozy film, Horror of Dracula.

that happened to me with Seed of Chucky. anytime i wanted to laugh i was afraid to really let it go cuz it seemed weird to laugh all alone in an empty theater. lol

reply

That's weird, because I have never been to a movie where the theater was completely empty. Sure, the theater was probably pretty empty, but not completely.

A theatre in my city that played fan-favorites once a month, screened AoD last halloween, it was great seeing it on the big screen

Cos that would be impossible.
How could it be "completely empty" if you are in it?

If Jesus was a Jew, why does he has a Mexican first name?

reply

Oops.

Well, I've never been to a theater where I was the only person in the seats.

My sister and me went to go see Eagle Eye, if anyone remembers that, and we were the only ones in the theater. We sat in every seat, revolving every couple of minutes. :p Had to find something to entertain us, since the movie was, well...it was just kind of there...

I just went to see Gravity with a date. It was the 3-D version and we were the only ones. Stadium seating this time. Awesome experience even if the tickets came to $27.00 a pair...

Just checking the box office returns and was surprised to see this was a lot lower than I expected. I'd always thought this was a hit, but from the looks of things, the producers would have been flat out getting their money back.🐭

Quite a while back now I took the family to see Peter Pan and yes, for the first time in my life we were the only ones inside a rather large cinema watching it.🐭
