Yep it definitely has the shape & eyes of a Husky, but I think Huskies usually have grey markings on the crown of their heads, and I've never seen one as fluffy as the one in the movie. My guess is it's a Samoyed

I don't know much about dog breeds, but my first reaction was that it was an Alaskan Malamute. I thought the breed might be pointing to Depp's character's interest in Alaska.
Regardless of the breed, it was a talented animal to endure the chaos in this movie. nice job to the dog and the handler

I am convinced it was an Alaskan Malamute, not a Samoyed or a Husky [although these three breeds are actually very close].
