Elaine's Gift *spoiler*

What did Grace give Elaine for her birthday present? I thought they were house papers. Grace told Axel about settling the house affair or something like that. I think she gave the house papers to her mom like making her the house owner.

Anyone else got a thing to say about Elaine's gift?

I was reading the message boards and someone called it "Depp Film". Please! Its a typical Kusturica film. You will know better if you have watched other movies by this great artist. No disrespect to Depp of course..
