David S. Goyer didn't write The Dark Knight. He and director Christopher Nolan developed the story, the screenplay was written by Chistopher Nolan & Johnathan Nolan. Still, Goyer has had his name on the credits of the worst and the best.
shareWhen I first heard that this movie was being made, I was sure it would be based on the novel Arcade by Robert Maxxe. It was published in 1985, and was about a video arcade opening in a small town. All the kids in town get addicted to it, except this arcade was built by aliens, not some company. It turned out not to be, although there sure were some similarities.
