Most of the bad reviews mention Rosie O'Donnell...

... Just curious; did anybody actually think she added something?

yup...a target for the hitman...shame he only hit her shoulder (he wasn't really aiming for the witness, he wanted o'dopey dead for sure

... She's such a BIG target, surely even the most incompetent greenhorn couldn't miss???????????!

She did an alright job I think, didn't add anything, but didn't take anything away either.

She is what sank this film. Didnt really need a sequel to begin with, but why cast her? She is a horrible actress, not to mention just plain annoying. I recently just picked up "Stakeout" in a discount DVD bin for $4.00. I wouldnt have this film if someone threw it at me..

reply

Can't stand her@

reply

Rosie is always miscast. I blame whoever told her that she could act.

How would you act in that situation?

I mean she was reacting to people being murdered...Maybe there is a flaw in there somewhere but its not with Rosie O'Donnell...Don't get me wrong..I don't like her or her politics or what she stands for and...I think she has sandbagged peeople and has kind of a weird shrill cannon-like attitude and well...you know the type...Just like Barry Bonds..Looks Great but a Bad Personality...Not like Sexy great...You know what I mean!!

She's not great...except in A league of their owned...undeniable..But...THIS ones unwarranted...Right guys?

I actually didn't hate her in this. Maybe not saying much, but I would have thought her performance would take me out of the movie, but it didn't. Frankly, I think she did a good job. Probably one of the few things (maybe the ONLY thing) I can stand watching her in, and that includes A League of Their Own, which I mostly like for Tom Hanks anyway.

reply

I thought she wasn't bad. She certainly didn't make the movie better, but she didn't take away from it either and she was funny here and there.

Of course, a third wheel. Otherwise this would have been an almost carbon copy of the first movie. Even Lethal Weapon added Leo Getz (Pesci) in their sequel.
