Still a fun movie

This is a pointless sequel that I'm sure bombed in the theaters but it has its funny moments. I like the vacation atmosphere that it has with the house on the island and I must say that Archie is one of the most laid back Rotties I have ever seen.

I agree. It was somewhat decent.

Yes, I have to begrudgingly agree. There's something "comfortable" about this movie. I disliked it the first time I saw it mainly because it wasn't as funny or fluid as the original. Plus, the original had the key love story element between Chris and Maria going for it that the sequel lacked. Their love story in this sequel was played as a sideshow. But, like you said, the atmosphere is very inviting and it still has several funny moments. Not as good as 'Stakeout', but still watchable.

I liked it. I wouldn't really compare it to the first one since this is more outright comedy than the first. I still had a lot of fun with this.

The first one is far better imo. Yet, I find this movie strangely appealing. It's definitely a lot of fun and entertaining, so I think they accomplished what they wanted to accomplish. It's the type of feel good movie you can watch again and again.

What funny moments? The attempts at humor are atrocious and that's all there is to the movie for 90% of the running time.

I liked that impressive opening mega explosion.

I also liked Rosie O'Donnell.

The whole tea party (evening meal?) part was inspired.

Any film with a dog in is good in my book.

That's in my opinion.
