I thought it was really interesting to learn so much about it...
I honestly didn't know that much about AIDS and how serious it was until i watched this movie.
Yes, it was sad :( but it made me think :)

shareThey showed it in my health class in middle school. I'm now 22, so it was about 10 years ago around 1996-97-ish. Powerful piece of work. I just ordered the dvd too because I've been wanting to watch it again.

I remember our whole year level was made to watch this together in Grade 9 of High School (back in 2002).
As well as being a great movie, I found it very educational and vitally important. I'm glad my school insisted upon us watching it.
I didn't watch it until my Junior year in HS around the spring of 2003. But I watched it in my Biology II class, not health, though I think it should be shown to the health classes in my school district for every year. It's really important that they show it to educate today's kids..

I saw this in health class in 1997. 7th Grade. Our teacher talked a little bit about aids and then let this movie do the rest. I went to a very small town school.. we didnt even have a traffic light and I'm still impressed to this day that it was shown. Most parents would have been pissed I imagine if they knew it was being shown.
And in all fairness.. it was a bit over our heads.
