I saw a trailer for this film on Videodetective and I have a question about it. I don´t mind if it spoils the film for me but anyway, is the homeless man Ronald DeFeo Jr? Because there is some scene where the guy appears at a dinning table with a shotgun pointing to the people in his family. Anyway, can someone explain this to me? Thank you!

He means that they don't call him "Ronald DeFeo" in it, and they never use the name "DeFeo", but his character is one who when he was young killed his parents and siblings with a shotgun in their home in Amityville. So obviously the character is supposed to be like Ronald Defeo.
