i watched it and it was actually not bad at all.

I'll be the fourth to chime in that this movie wasn't that bad. It had some imaginative touches, and I'm glad it wasn't just another haunted house story.

I thought the performances were decent, and I loved the sinister artwork. Ross Partridge had a serious Dylan McDermott thing going on, and Terry O'Quinn is one of the best B-movie actors around. Not a great film, but 6 out of 10 stars from me.

I just finished watching it. I agree with you guys not bad at all. I gave it a 6 on the IMDB review. Did you guys notice one of the actresses was one of Jason's victims on Friday 13th movie? A pretty good addition to the Amityville series.

I own it on DVD and I thought that it was the second best next to It's About Time. I like how it went back to the roots of the orignal and the DeFeo murders. The painting of the demons were amazing. I wonder if the artist who did them has them on his website. The acting was really good. It's a shame that Ross Partridge didn't have more starring roles in movies rather than minor characters. I crack up every time I see Ray's death (not that I thought it wasn't good, I just thought how it was funny how he kept yelling "Oh my god!"). Ross Partridge should have played George in the remake.

I liked it well enough. Decent enough direct to video fare, with good acting and especially good visuals and atmosphere.

It was pretty bland and dull, but the softcore-porn aspect of it managed to at least keep me awake through an entire viewing. Creative concept, but lousy execution. 3/10

It's not bad at all. I found it quite entertaining. I think people just like to hate sequels solely because they're sequels. No, it's not the best sequel of all of them, but I still feel it's a good film.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

I rented this when it was originally released, but can't remember if I watched the whole thing.
