I know this series aint amazing but ive always had a soft spot because i loved them when i was a kid.But whats up with this film? it's a completly different story! David Bradley's in it but plays a different character,his name in parts 3-4 was Sean Davidson,in this he's called Joe Kastle?? and there is an anoying little kid in this(which i wont go in to!).Stick to parts 1-4.
shareI just recently watched this for the first time, and watching it for the first 15 minutes, i just stopped it right there. It's all messed up, seriously. There is no continuity, and that kid is just too damn irritating, it makes me wanna meet him and teach him a lesson or two . This is indeed, the worst in the series.
share I say stick to parts 1 and 2. 3 and 5 are awful and 4 is pretty lame as well.

Heh, I think this as a lot better movie than you. I even rank this second best of the whole american ninja series. Right after the 2nd. Although I must admit that this should be looked as a non linear "story" of american ninja series and not a sequel.
+ David Bradleys acting is the best he has to offer of all AN movies. He has improved a lot from earlier film. Even some jokes and smiles eh eh.
+ Fight scenes are the best in the series
+ The chick is quite hot
+ "Viper" is the best boss of the series
- Yes, the kid is kind of irritating, but not too much IMO
- The soundtrack is horrible. The tune playing on chase/fight scenes is so wrongly placed...
- Bulk ninjas are still like wood blocks on the way
- Joe Kastle as a name, why not Sean?
3 & 4 were the worst american ninjas IMO.
3 was lacking Dudikoff and 4 was lacking James.

I'll agree on Bradley's performance was better in this, he got better as his films went on but this movie was a mess, far too kiddie friendly.
