Cincinnati, the Hockey Hotbed

Was this movie supposed to be made in Minnesota? Or Michigan? When was Cincy this mythical hotbed of hockey? I just watched it on youtube recently. After the laughing of seth green and jack black, and the laughing of seeing ben stiller's old flame in "meet the fockers" dating seth green (she's much better looking now that she's 20 years older)...the fact that CINCY was a place everyone played hockey.

I enjoyed this movie as a look back on my past when tbs used to show it all the time.

Chill, BRAH!

Yeah, this was clearly made by people who thought "Everyone in the Midwest plays hockey, right?". Culturally this would've worked better set in Minnesota, but I suppose they needed the Cincinnati landscape--with all of its hills--for the big finale, thus.

That was so odd. Also, apparently, so many people there love hockey that the school can form a team that has...six players on it.

This movie is a fun little diversion, but I mean, some of this you just had to laugh at
