better, as good, or worse than the first one?

I liked this movie better than the first one. What about you guys?

I liked this movie better as well.

There's just so many great lines from this one. The police station scene alone makes it better than the first one.

A little better, but both are good. Wednesday is older and funnier in this one. And the stuff with Pubert is good, too.

Loved both, but this one is better! The whole idea of sending Wednesday and Pugsley to camp is just brilliant!

One of the very few films which sequal beats the original film.

As good as the first one because both films are incredibly good fun.

I'm actually surprised by the other replies. While I enjoyed this film, I enjoyed the first film just a tad bit more. I can't think of the reasons why I find the first one better, I just kind of do.

I have always loved this one better than the first. I think maybe because Wednesday got older and funnier.

I agree, although I'm not sure it is just because Christina Ricci is funnier and older, she was the best character in the previous film but only had a fairly small part; I'm sure the creators realised how good she was so gave her a bigger part in this film.

I'm only going to say this once: stay out of Camberwick Green - Sam Tyler

Better than the first. Debbie is hysterical.

Not as good a villain as Dr. Pinderschloss sorry.

reply

I always liked this one better :)

This one is 100% BETTER!

I think this film is slightly better in most ways...plot wise....but I really missed the focus on Morticia and Gomez from the first movie...I felt that in the 2nd movie....they were a bit too foolish? if that makes sense? I understand the film was made 2 years later or so....but it felt very different.

*I agree with the role of Ricci being far better....and you can't deny that seeing a baby with a moustache must trump everything!

Minority opinion here: I had high expectations for both films, and I was very disappointed. I'd say they were roughly equal, no more than 5/10 from me.

I bet the film that was in your head was way better. Sad that it was only in your head and the rest of us can't see it

LeeAnn Rimes. No it doesn't.
