The Repeated Day is just so fun as a topic

The great John Clute, author and editor of many works on fantasy and SF, gave a talk at the International Conference on the Fantasy in the Arts, in the 1990s, about stories which rely on The Repeated Day.

I wish I had had a camera! Perhaps someone at the conference did record it.

I was fortunate that, merely days before the conference, I talked to John Clute and told him that "The X-Files" had had an episode called "Monday." As it happened, I was at the time making VHS copies of all of "The X-Files," so I got a bit of reflected glory.

He did publish that talk as an essay, and it's available somewhere... But if that episode is available online, I'd love to hear it, because I've seen it only the one time.

For those of you who like Buffy fanfic, there is a brilliant story (with a sequel) titled "It's Just a Jump to the Left." It's mostly Xander and Spike, but the other Scoobies show up.

And pretty sure that there's an X-File fanfic, too. Okay, just throwing these comments out there. Hope they will please some. And, please, no trolls, as I'm only offering information and not making (well, not very many) judgments.
