Why did he let people die?

The day they finally fixed the time loop a government agent and the guy in charge got killed. And they got arrested! He should have kept going until he could keep everyone alive. Now they're dead forever. Some hero...

Exactly my thought when I saw the sneaking along the building after the radio report. He's got the patter down so he can sell them on it quick enough to get thing to happen, now he's improving the actual counter-conspiracy stuff a bit more each time.

So, the moment it goes off the rails, we give up and let it all reset.

Aside from murders, being shot and arrested, etc. the Suburban assassins probably get to go free. I see no reason they'd get caught since they vaporized Dr. Moxley and presumably were otherwise hidden. My goal would be full justice.

Not to mention getting himself shot in the arm. I would have called it off right there. It can't be a good thing to be shot. I also would have taken the time to win the lottery or something before fixing it.
