why didnt Barry ...??

Ok here is a question , when in the 3rd loop he finally manages to save LISA and they found out why Barry can keep his memories due to the lighting , wouldn't been nomral to drive to Barry's house and replicate this on LISA ???

I mean for Lisa to also put her hend on that cable and be stricked by lightning , if this succeded Lisa would also keep her memories in the next loop and Barry wouldn't have to convince her yet again !!!

NO, cos if it failed and Lisa would have been killed , she would simply turn up again the next morning like she came back from the death several times !!

the idea is simply the loop would have hapned anyway but with Lisa's memories intact this time he can plan with her how to end or simply do nothing and go an trip one loop or more ...

I agree with you and had a similar thought while watching the movie...after they figured out the reason he retained his memories was due to that electrical shock, they should've tried to duplicate the effect on Lisa so she'd remember everything (including falling in love with him!) and they could more easily keep working together to stop the time loop. I mean I know she falls for him again by the end of the movie but it's kinda sad (and weird :P) she won't remember their first time together, etc.

Very good point that there was nothing to lose by having her try to get zapped by the lamp because even if it hurt/killed her, she'd "wake up" again the "next"(previous) day. I guess it's more dramatic to have her forget about him and have him try to convince her all over again though. :P

A good question, but it probably would have been very difficult to persuade her to get shocked and possibly electrocute herself.
