Hey, they switched up the schedule this week

MyTV's been showing the repeats on Thursdays overnight (1 AM & 2 AM PST) and Saturday evenings (7 PM and 8 PM PST), but I noticed this week the first showings were Tuesday overnight instead (1 AM & 2 AM PST). Fortunately I was channel-surfing around 1:40 and noticed, otherwise I wouldn't have known. GREAT episode first, the one with the teenage girls who turn devilish, along with the rest of the town. Very funny scenes, including Scully getting jealous again over another agent (?) who jumps Mulder one night after being affected. I look forward to the repeat Sat. (Remember when Mulder turns on the faucet and the water drains backward?)

So no episodes tonight, darn it. I wouldn't mind 3 showings a week myself ... or maybe every night ... ;o)

There was no XF's at 9 on our channel 7 this Thurs or next Thurs:( They have Blue Bloods on instead. I hope thing bring it back😢

reply

Did you check the Tues listing? Hope they just switched it at your house as well as mine.

reply

It's been switched to Tuesdays and Saturdays here.

I caught Syzygy the other night too. My favorite part this time around was the very end where Scullys attitude throughout the episode eventually let to Mulder throwing her "Sure, fine, whatever" line back at her.

I get the TV guide and looked at all the days except for Sat which is bad since I'm never home. I'd have to DVR it.

reply

There are quite a few internet sites that offer tv listings. Maybe your hardcopy tv guide just wasn't updated in time before mailing? The schedule change HAS been fairly recent anyway.

reply

Thanks:) I'll go through my guide on the TV and see if it's on at another day or time.

My favorite part is realizing it's the transgendered cologne that Mulder likes and not Det.Whites

At that point Doctor Godfrey was just considered a cross-dresser.

Sorry,you are right.

That scene was funny

reply

Agreed. The reactions of Detective White and Scully as Mulder was trying to figure it out... 

Also, these episodes are edited a bit for added commercials. I saw a part cut from "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose."

reply

That's horrible!! Shouldn't be done!! But I guess we live in a commercial world these days, more so all the time. Ha, remember the days when there were only breaks at 15, 30 and 45 minutes past the hour? Heaven. (Tho of course no ads is ideal)

reply

just looked in the TV Guide and I see XF’s listed on Tue at 8 and 9 on station MY. I have no idea what that station is or the number of the channel.

reply

MyTV is the national network. In my area (Seattle) the affiliate is called "JoeTV." I think if you look on MyTV's website there's a link to finding your affiliate.

I'd say, it's the same channel you've been watching the Sat episodes on, right?

reply

No I was watching on Channel 7 on Thurs evening.

reply

Check that website, I'm sure you'll get it figured out

reply

I believe MyTV is the only network showing "X-Files" right now.

reply

I think it is but as I said I have no idea what station that is.

reply

Go to mytv.com, click on the "find my station" or similar link

Believe it or not, the reason people used to PAY EXTRA for cable tv was because it didn't include ANY advertising commercials AT ALL.

Now though, it's to the point that people are actually paying to watch those same commercials on cable tv.

What's wrong with this picture?

reply

Boy, you said it!! At least we've got our DVRs so we can speed thru them in recordings. (Advertisers must hate those things.)

reply

I watch on Netflix, I don't have this problem at all.

reply

So Netflix has 0 ads? Can you watch "X-Files" on it? But, you have to pay for Netflix, so ...

reply

No ads on Netflix, but 10 a month, you can have 3 people on your account, so you can even split the cost with others. $3.33 or $10 a month is a bargain for the amount of content.

reply

Not bad at all! I haven't entered the world of streaming yet, but I do like my movies-by-mail account with Netflix which costs less than $9.
