Gillian Anderson in Hannibal (Film)

I was reading about how Gillian Anderson was considered for the iconic role of Clarise Starling in the sequel to "Silence of the Lambs" also known as "Hannibal."

That conversation must have been a lot like when they offered Henry Winkler the lead in Grease. If Winkler already had the leather jacket, Gillian already had the gun and FBI badge. Typcasting at its best. But still interesting to think about.
