atrocious - did not age well

I'm a life long cyberpunk fan, William Gibson, scifi, etc...but this was awful. convoluted plot, horrible dialog, terrible acting, and lousy directing. there was really nothing redeeming about it...I should have left it as a distant memory.

one redeeming quality -- mocking Scientology. upped my rating to 2 stars.

I thought Dana Delany, Brad Dourif, Robert Loggia, and Nick Mancuso were very good (with Dourif and Loggia being great) Kim Cattrall was bad in the start but got better during the final episodes, Angie Dickinson, Ernie Hudson, Bebe Neuwirth and Bob Gunton have been better in other things but weren't terrible, the rest of the other actors (Kathryn Bigelow, Rondi Reed, Aaron Michael Metchik, and surprisingly the usually great David Warner, and the tolerable Jim Belushi) were terrible.

I didn't think David Warner was that bad.

Jim Belushi was terrible in this.

I just started re-watching it for the first time since it aired and I would have to agree

Life sucks, then you're reincarnated

Indeed, my expectations had been high but every further part was getting worse. It almost hit the level, where "Matrix Reloaded" and "LawnmowerMan 2" are on my scale. The pop-culture Hollywood ending really killed off my expectations completely.

Should have re-watched "BladeRunner" & "LawnmowerMan" instead.

And no, it is so inferior to "Twin Peaks", that it's amlost amazing how these two can be compared at all.

Nu chto gliadite? Ne poluchali davno?

the music pretty good, and the first EP has a great shot of Belushi driving his convertible down the street and in the background is some guy getting his ass beat by some MiB thugs set to the great music soundtrack
