There is a corniness, wholesomeness, ridiculous bad guys that can't be duplicated.

The man slid down a hot air balloon and beat up the bad guy in the basket.
If you can't have scenes like that in the new one, I don't even want to watch it.

Tell me about it. The news made me actually want Supernatural to stay on the air, because if Jared Padalecki is filming it, he can’t film a Walker reboot.

While I agree, the same could certainly be said about Magnum PI, MacGuyver, and even Hawaii 5-0. However, even without any shred of charm those original shows had, CBS has somehow made the remakes hits.

Ha. No way did any of the shows you mentioned have the exaggeration that is a Walker episode, original or remake.

I don't get it either. The only way I see another Walker working is with a huge star like The Rock in the main role.
