Favorite villain
Mine would be Rudy Mendoza and Kurt Nypo.
shareBoone Waxwell. His character deserved 3 appearances on the show, not Larue.
shareLove Waxwell but Larue was great, terrific actor gotta admit.
shareI've never understood how Larue is such a fan favorite. I honestly think that if he was a one time character, he wouldn't be nearly as remembered.
shareBecause he was different and one of a kind, take the scene in Return of Larue where he hires that big fella to lay a hurt on himself now when you first watch that scene the initial thought is "oh my, he's going to hire this guy to try to pummel Walker but will fail" but instead plays it a different way by sacrificing himself to get hurt so he can be more than convincing when filing the assault claim. He brought charm and psychopathy to the role. I agree if it was a one-time appearance he wouldn't have been remembered because in Cowboy (his first appearance) he wasn't nearly as twisted or dangerous but seemed more like a standard, run-of-the-mill, villain of the week. Love Wayne Pere and have seen his other films, quite a decent actor.
shareRandy Mantooth's character, James Lee Crown. (He shot a horse, for God's sake! THAT is evil and villainous!) ;)
sharejsn hylnd, you realize that the idea of Larue hiring a guy to beat him up came straight from Dirty Harry.
shareIt is starting to sound boring, but for me it's all Marshall Teague, Leon Rippy, Michael Parks characters. They were not just evil. but also fun.
shareIt's kind of like the 1960's Batman series where the actor is encouraged to go over the top so even an actor like Terrence Knox was enjoyable to watch.
