Does anybody think that Paramount might release this '93-'94 series around the time that PUBLIC ENEMIES with Johnny Depp & Christian Bale comes out, in the summer?!! Just a thought!! I'm sure I'm just wishful thinking, but it hit me the other day, that maybe they would finally release this wonderful series to coincide with the release of a movie about old time gangsters!?! What better timing, right?!! So there's you an idea, Paramount!!! Please think on this idea for us fans of this great show who have been trying to patiently wait for the DVD release for so long now!! :)

Boardwalk Empire (same genre/period, and even with William Forsythe appearing as a semi-regular in S2) is another opportunity.

Given the rubbish that gets DVD releases, I'm seriously thinking there's a rights issue or something with Untouchables or something.

Excuse me, but what TV shows to you are 'rubbish'?, For the record, this show wasn't well-regarded in comparison to the 1959 original or the 1987 movie by many, so that may play a factor in why it isn't on DVD (or even been rerun.) And no, there are no rights issues, there may not be enough interest in the show for it to be put on DVD (remember, for there to be supply, there has to be demand.)

You can always ask Shout Factory to do it, or request that Hulu and Netflix show it (Hulu's showing some CBS Studios properties, which this show is a part of) or ask that it be put on DVD by way of this website (www.tvshowsondvd.com)-other than that, I don't know what else to say.
