Death to all 'cute dogs' in movies - spoilers

I'm not knocking (no pun intended, really) this movie but did anyone else find it funny/annoying when Bobbi goes into the shed, finds the sheriff and the old man subdued, but does nothing to help them and instead frees the stupid dog? Just for ONCE I'd love to see a character in a monster movie not only leave the damn dog, but throw it to the monster as a distraction while they first save the humans!

Shame on you, dude. Just shame on you.

If watching defenseless animals getting mutilated gives you kicks, I suggest you watch Critters 2, Pet Sematary Two, The Thing, Vampire in Brooklyn, The Hills Have Eyes, The Gate, to name a few. And enjoy.

reply

Yes. Well said. It was absurd. Most of the movie is absurd. Still entertaining, yet just nonsensical in parts. I think the dog is the only character from the shed to survive. I'd hope that most people would kill their own dog if it meant preserving the life of a complete stranger.

go see snakes on a plane i've been told they throw a little dog to the snake

reply

I will. Thank you. I doubt very much that that helped their situation though.

reply

Screw people...save the animals instead.

i agree with you 100%

i think the only circumstance whered id kill my own dog in favor of a complete stranger would be if my dog had rabies or some other incurable illness from which there was no return. totally serious here and not ashamed in the least to say it.

I'll pray everyday not to be in danger anywhere near you, is all.

I doubt many people would think: ''I'd rather a stranger run away with their dog from danger than to save me!'' Works both ways, in my humble opinion.

'' i think so, brain, but I can't memorise a whole opera in yiddish. ''

reply

A complete stranger? No. Someone I know though, yeah. Call me selfish, but a complete stranger just doesn't mean as much to me as my own pet. Sorry.

That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die.

reply

I'd save my cat before saving a dog I didn't know.

ummm watch Snakes On A Plane. that exact thing happens to a beautiful little chihuahua
