Does anyone else find this to be bizarre that she is now a contestand on Last Comic Standing????
I mean... she had a show... named after her... and now she's just some random person? Seems weird.
And PS. I LOVED the show Thea!!! She told it like it was
"Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!"
haha yeah it is kinda weird....But I have seen a few people on the show that I have seen other places....and It is weird....and a little sad too.
shareWell, just making the finals on Last Comic can boost a comic's status and booking price for club gigs. I'm guessing if she still tours it's totally worth it for her to do it. I hope she does well. And don't forget her show was 14 years ago; there's a whole new audience that will get to know her now. Check out the movie "Punks" that she's in--it's about a group of young gay African-Americans. Saw it at a film fest in 2000. It's really good.
