For those of you that care enough to visit this message board, Space Rangers has been released on DVD in Region 4 in a two disc set. The cover artwork is crap and the transfer ain't great, but hey, you've got all 6 episodes preserved on DVD!
Just do a bit of surfing at sites like EzyDVD, Atlantic DVD and other R4 sites and you should find a good enough price.

Aaaaaaaaaah, you just forgot to mention that it is released in Australia and in PAL. Well, I ordered it anyway from EzyDVD.com for $18 in US currency anyway. I guess, we'll have to convert it to NTSC ourselves, huh?

Who knows? It's also out in England as well. Could just be a matter of no distributor in the US having thought of releasing it.

Er, no. Its a legit release and it has also been released in Region 2 (UK). As to why there hasn't been an American release, I have no idea.

this was one great show ! i have 3 of the only four episodes shown here in michigan. although they were shown out of order. the fourth eisode shown was the pilot..thats where danny joins and captain boon is still married. it also starred wings hauser a great actor and awesome hero/villian in everything he's in. doc and jo jo were great as well. this show had such potential. it was fun without being all pc and set up its own universe right off the bat...i mean the banshees were a neat idea. why do all the great shows get cancelled ?? sci-fi seems limited to star wars an star trek. like if theres no merchandise or toy line tie ins forget it. jeez i wish this show would come on dvd here in the usa.
