does anyone has the uk dvd?

i just would like to know, how is the sound and picture quality of the dvd, it it worth buying it?! are the episodes somehow cut or is there anything that might spoil the enjoyment of this great show, that was to good for it's time?!

Really? This show was released on DVD in UK? I also would like to know the answers to your questions. Right now I'm dealing with the VHS tapes that I bought from a rental store that are over 15 years old. Would love a DVD version of this ignored series, with the episodes in the proper order they were intened to be seen.

This show was indeed released on DVD (2-disc) in the UK in August 2004. It's a quite simple release with practically no extra material. All six episodes are included and as I remember it, they were all uncut.
Wether or not the picture and/or sound compares to any video release I can't say, but I can't imagine it to be of a lesser quality.
But how to get the DVD's? Well, you'll need some (read a lot!) of luck, it seems. I can't find it on Ebay (all that pops up is Power Rangers!) and on Amazon.co.uk the few that are offered cost a sh!tload of money! I'm very happy about the fact, that I purchased my copy right away when it was released. And no, mine is NOT for sale...

Hey tomo66-1. Could you list the episodes in the order that they are on the DVD set? Being that they are out of order on my VHS collection, and I can't seem to find a episode list that's the same on the internet, I'll go with the official UK release order of episodes being the proper way to watch the series.

Late response, I appologize.
The order on the DVD's are as follows (and play time too):

"Pilot", 46:27
"Banshees", 46:43
"The Replacements", 45:15
"Death Before Dishonour", 46:19
"To Be Or Not To Be", 46:48
"The Trial", 46:18

This was also the order when it ran on German television (where I saw it the first time).
And after checking my DVD's, I have to say that the picture and sound is better than any VHS version I've ever seen.

Thank you for the info tomo!

According to epguides.com, the pilot is called Fort Hope, and Death Before Dishonor was the last episode.
