I know that Sega of Japan hated SatAM...

... but I don't suppose you know what they think of Underground and Adventures Of Sonic?

Now I have three sequels. Ho ho ho.

I remember reading an interview with the guy who designed "Sonic Spinball" in which he was invited, along with people from Sega of Japan, to a meeting where AoStH was being displayed before broadcast. According to him, the Sega people just sat through the meeting utterly stone-faced - they did NOT look too impressed, to say the very least....

Maybe they hated satam and based it on aosth, i was gonna give up on sonic cartoon before i watched satam.

But they can't hate satam, that took a basic concept and turned it into something epic, aosth ruined that vision but satam didn't and it felt a lot like the games in a lot of respects, from animals being turned into robots, planet getting polluted, a dark menacing robotnick instead of the bumbling idiot from aotsh, sonic was given a personality etc, if it wasn't cancelled then series 3 would've introduced knuckles and probably chaos emeralds with it and tails was finally gonna get fully developed and the enemy from the cliffhanger was gonna show his face.

It still pisses me off to this day that they left it like that because a stupid executive wanted to put 6 idiots in costumes and fight plastic monsters in a badly constructed city , wtf and satam pisses on sonic x, that's only marginally better then aotsh and underground.

Disagreed, AoSTH is by FAR superior to that awful Sonic X cartoon, heck Sonic X makes Underground look good and I HATED Underground.

I felt that Adventures captured the cartoony fun feel of the game, but Satam focused more so on the plot of the games only on a more extreme level and yet it feels much different from the games to me. Although Sega of Japan is free to hate Satam, I can't really see why they CAN'T hate it, everyone has different tastes, right?

I don't think AoSTH ruined that vision, remember that these are completely different cartoons, that's like saying Loony Tunes ruined the serious rendition Loonatics.

Also, Robotnik in AoSTH was brilliantly hilarious, although that's just my opinion.
