Australian relase date (finally) for season 2

It'll be out August 20th, and like the US release, it's eight discs:

I hope they get season three out faster, I didn't see much of it when it originally aired but it seemed better than season 2

It was sort of the law of diminishing return, if you ask me...but no one has. Season three lacked a lot of the elements of seasons one and two, the music, most of the actors, and traded science for action. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with that, per se, but seaQuest is a pretty good example of why TV execs lose their jobs when they fiddle with programming to the point of absurdity and then blame their underlings for the disaster that follows. Too many cooks and not enough patrons in the restaurant.

You're right, except they went too far correcting the series twice, meaning, that in season 2 they wanted to add more fiction and action to the plot to make it a little more appealing. In season 3 they went too far the other way with the action and militaristic aspect of things. They just couldn't seem to even it out.

Season 1 is the best, Season 3 had a chance to be great but by then it was too late for the execs and it was cancelled. Season 2 is laughable at many points. It's a shame.

I just started watching it, I'd forgotten how bad they screwed it up! about the only good episode so far (and the only one I could remember) is the AI sub controlled by Bridger's military profiling.

I'll buy it eventually, but when it's gone down in price a bit. I'm wondering if it'll be as depressing an experience to watch after all these years!
