ROY SCHEIDER WAS THE BEST FOR SEAQUEST DSV!
Good Night to all Seaquest DSV Fans! This is Lori. I am a 39 soon to be a 40 Year old Woman who just admired and appreciated Roy Scheider as a Performing Artist and as a the wonderful Person he was to His family and His Community. He also did His best to give back to the World in his own way. Roy was among the most REAL and AUTHENTIC Actors Who could Genuinely make You feel like He was the various Characters He plyed/portrayed over the course of His career. It was His portrayal of captain Nathan Hale Bridger in seaquest DSV that made Me Re-Discover and fall in love with Him as a Actor all over again after losing track of Him sometime after 2010: The Year We make Contact. I know that seaquest's Pilot Episode was 2 Hours long. To be or Not To Be. It only took Me 30 Minutes into it watching Roy at work with His then new Character for Me to really respect and sit in absolute AWE of how talented He really was. The way He made Nathan Human and treat His Crew like a Family as well as fellow Officers aboard the Submarine. A Father Figure as well as a Military man. Roy made His fellow Co-Stars better Actors by just having scenes with Him. He made them bring their A-Game. Brought out the best in them.
This is WHY I could not stand Micheal ironside's Captain Oliver Hudson. I only watched a couple of Episodes with Him. I disliked Him from the instant.
A cold hearted by-the book menace. Who did not treat the Crew as a Family and as fellow Officers and Human beings the way that Roy's Nathan did.
A far to strict enforcer. If i were a Officer in The UEO I would have been proud and lucky to serve aboard the seaquest under Nathan Bridger. Roy was a also a very HANDSOME and SEXY man for a then Pre-Senior Citizen. ( he was a 61 Year old when He got the part.) So distinguished and dignified. Roy's Nathan Hale Bridger was the SEXIEST and the HOTTEST submarine Captain ever!
the only Actor who could ever be a Nathan Hale Bridger Re-cast would be lance Henriksen. He is the only Actor ALIVE Today who could and would do this role justice.
I also need to ask a favor. Who can direct Me to find Roy's photo-shoot/promo pictures for Seaquest DSV? I mean the really NICE and STUNNING one's.

The Execs at NBC Prime-Time at that time were IDIOTS to lose Him.
Actors like Him Who have pure and raw talent are just NOT here anymore.
