Me on the show as an alien

See picture here - I was standing in the production offices against the wall, picture taken by a casting person:

Jake -- one of these days I have to blog about it or something. But the short version is I used to do a lot of work as an Extra in those days, and seaQuest was shot on stage 21 at Universal Studios Florida at that point -- which neighbors the office building 22 where my office was from 1989-1993. So I saw a lot of these guys wandering around back then. My cousin and business partner was a 1st A.D. on the show. I hung out with a lot of them at a house party during that really short (fixed) Mike Tyson fight (I think it was right after he came out of prison?)... Anson Williams (who played "Potsy" from Happy Days, but was now a TV director) was director of the episode I was in, and was also at the party. Roy was not there, he was not a very chummy guy, but everyone else was. (My scene was with Roy, Jonathan Brandis and Mark Hammil, but Mark wasn't there either -- he only few in for a day or two of shooting in that episode, but I got his autograph on two of my star wars posters outside his trailer...my photo with him didn't turn out due to a bad camera, which I have cursed to this day)... Jonathan Brandis was kind of a dick actually but the rest of them were nice.

just wanna note that Johnathan always came off that way.

but he was shy and often felt what he did wasnt
good enough. he wanted to fit in more
with his friends and wasnt ready for
all the fame. so when you meet him
it seems like that, but really if
you knew him; he was nice.

just he didnt like to be left out
of things, and when he was working
he really seemed like a loner
and wanted to be alone, but
that wasnt him, he just wanted
people to pay attention but
wasnt sure how to fit in
with an older cast as he
was so young.

Michael and Roy were
really good at working with him
and helping him as father type
as they could be.

You could call that method acting..

That's very cool that you had a chance to work on SQ. Thank you for sharing the pictures. There's not a ton of 'behind the scenes' stuff that you get to see from the show. (I'm suprised that you didn't say that the costume was a 'hand me down' from some other show, like some of the props that were used.)
