Screech's future at the end should have been mentioned:

After the departure of Belding, Screech gets transferred to a non-difficult public high school in California and becomes a new principal in that place.

A few months later, Screech befriends a beautiful woman and then gets married.

After one year, Screech and his new wife transferred to a new company.

reply

Wouldn't Screech need to return to California University to finish his degree? As I recall, he only finished one year (during the College Years) before he left the university to become Mr. Belding's unpaid assistant. He never returned to finish the other three years' worth of classes!

reply

He should, but the college years failed with too many low ratings, Kurt_Stein.

reply

The New Class should have had a storyline about Screech earning his college degree during summer break between semesters. Instead, it appeared as though Screech was a college dropout who became Mr. Belding's unpaid assistant at Bayside!

reply

He was an unpaid assistant in the beginning, but he became a paid assistant sometime in the third season of the new class. Especially with this titled episode "Screech's Millions".

In the beginning of its fourth season, he was trying to make his character more realistic, but the reason why you think he gets annoying increasingly along the way is because his character might be appraised too strong. Of course, they overdid his appraised character beyond the limit in the beginning of the new class' sixth season.

Probably that Bayside High is considered a strict type of public high school, which is considered difficult to helpless people, like Screech.

reply

Screech is probably still at Bayside to this very day.

reply

Not for long, jdchisholm.

Bayside is a too difficult type of public high school and it is not suitable for all types of helpless people, like Screech and all the new class students.

Screech should now be transferred to a new public high school, which is less difficult than both Bayside and Valley, and then become a new principal to create a new program for all types of helpless people, there.

reply

Do you think that Screech is still Mr. Belding's unpaid assistant? Or has he been demoted to unpaid bathroom attendant?

reply

I think he's probably in jail like Dustin OR living a 'Phantom of the opera' type existence in Baysides basement

reply

Not in jail as Dustin is in, but he should be transferring to a new public high school (which is less difficult than both Bayside and Valley) and becomes a new manager to create a new program for all types of helpless students involved.

reply

Screech was found in the basement of Bayside High talking to himself and saying "Ok Zack and all the lines he used on Lisa." He was taken to the Bayside Mental Health Center. Mr Belding stopped by to visit him.

reply

Screech did get paid as Mr. Belding's assistant. He wanted to create program for all types of helpless students involved. I know Bayside isn't the correct choice to have this program, but he should be transferring to new public high school (which is less difficult than both Bayside and Valley) and becomes a new manager to create that new program for all types of helpless students involved. An unpaid bathroom attendant would not be the correct choice at all, IMO.
