After a quick search around of the various nicktoons it's pretty cool to learn that this show, despite its lack of love at the time, now has such a healthy following that it outranks all Nicktoons I came across.. and by a considerable margin. The highest I found was a 7.6 for ren and stimpy and rugrats.
PS. SpongeBob has the same rating as Rocko but I don't count that as a 90s nicktoon

What misses?
And Ren and Stimpy's basically a 19 episode series if you want to separate it, so not even 2 true seasons. It's hard to call 6 episodes a "season" with a straight face.
Plus, I don't think it's only because of the Kricfalusi vs. post-Kricfalusi thing. I think that if you don't like the psychotic, often gross content, it's probably not going to appeal to you.
Whereas with Rocko's Modern Life, even if you don't really care about the sexual innuendo or the gross gags, there's still the biting satire to enjoy (which is why I personally am a fan of the show).
I personally rank Ren and Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life as the best 90's Nick shows.
