'Heck? Isn't it supposed to be-'

"Censors!"

"I'm gonna make your life a living... [bleep sound]"

Wow, why was it not harmful with SHOWING Hell in all its pride but taboo to utter the word?
Oh well, they still get away with a lot, but... you get my point.

reply

That's part of the joke. They played around with the idea of censoring the word, yet left no mystery to the audience what the episode is about.

'THEY CALL ME...PEACHES!"

"Peaches?"

"Would you...let me finish?"

reply

In the episode with the carnival they have the word blatantly on the sign for the ride called Elevator to Hell. that was super scandalous for me when I was little

reply

Yeah, I've heard about that haha.

And in Ren & Stimpy, they censored the word "hell" twice in The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen, but you could still see the word (clumsily obscured by a red line) in a text down under since the lyrics for a song were shown.

The word hell isn't as vulgar as the F-bomb or the S-bomb. I don't get it either.
