Resurected

I saw the tv spot today the tv station Heroes & Icons has this on their gigantic list of old school, but rather cult tv shows from the 70's, 80's & 90's that they are going to start airing, I had basically forgotten this show, I remember I always loved this show, mostly cause unlike COPS, these are the real stories, not just edited into 3 segments of actual arrests, and not made out to make cops always look like heroes, just everday real life stuff, they had one episode where an officer was gunned down, and I just remembered the cold reality of being a police officer hit me, watching all his fellow officers standing around his body, mourning over their fallen brother, and I just sat there thinking, see this is what real police work is about, often times grim and depressing, not just 3 easy cuts of the ones they got, they often showed ones who got away, and the frustration officers were left feeling over it, it's not propaganda, it's not painted out to be something it's not, it's just 100% real life police work, and if you want a compelling show, I suggest if you never got to see it, seek out what station H&I is where you live, and set your DVR to record this, BTW, COPS signed their own termination date when they started doing segments in places like Boise Idaho, showing tweekers getting popped for petty theft, and drunk dudes getting pulled over, sorry, those arent compelling arrests, nor entertaining, this show is in a league by itself.
