What Happened to Sgt. Cambridge?

We got to see the lovely and very competent Sgt. Cambridge during the first four season of "Pie in the Sky," but she disappears during the fifth and final season of the show. Does Henry Crabbe explain to his wife what happened to his former partner?

At the beginning of Season 5, Henry is transferred to, and is appointed the head of, the "Public Duties Squad", thusly changing the source of his support personnel.
