Great Series -- Any Plans For DVD?

Has anyone heard anything about North of 60 being released on DVD? With everything else that they're putting out now a days, this show definately deserves a fair shake at being available!

I'd love to see this show released on DVD if it hasn't been released already. I never watched it when it was originally televised, but now I'm catching it on Diva every morning at 6 am. A show has to be good for me to get up that early and this show is GOOD. If anyone has any info regarding if it has or will be released on DVD could you please post the info. I need a few more ZZZZ's in the morning.

If they're running it in syndication (Diva etc) then lower chance of near-term release on DVD.

Anyone know who at CBC to contact to encourage them to put this out on DVD?

I think you should try to contact "alliance". I'm pretty sure they had plans to release the first season in 2003, but the plans were scrapped.

I found someone on www.sell.com who has all 6 seasons for sale about $110.00US

I'm in a group that is big on emailing regarding new North of 60 movies that they hold back and trying to get the show to DVD.
We've been trying for years but the more the better.

I thought this was a pretty succesful series. But its not even available on vhs let alone dvd. There's not even a single torrent or bootleg out there. You'd think someone somewhere would've recorded them when they were on tv. This series might as well have never happened.

It's 2012 and I still love the show North of 60 and I am hoping it will be released on DVD. I believe it is a better series in comparison with what they show on tv these days. I know I would enjoy watching it over and over. I particularly can relate to it. Maybe I will send a note to CBC.

I really doubt it will get a proper dvd release. I ordered the whole series and the movies as well for 60 bucks canadian from ioffer.com

Got it yesterday and the quality is terrible. Looks like it was transferred from vhs to dvd, i pissed away 60 bucks on this crap.
