I knew Queen Latifah's mom played Khadijah's mom on the show as well but I didn't know that Kim Field's mom played Regine's mama on the show too..she was soo good and I just thought they cast an actress for the part but watching Kim's bio on AE I didn't realize her mom was a trained actress as well

Yep she is. Remember the Good Times episodes with Janet Jackson on there as Penny? Kim Field's mom played Penny's (Janet Jackson) abusive mother on the show.

Also Kim Fields was on an episode of Good Times as well (very young). It was the episode Florida, Penny, a young Kim Fields, and a boy were stranded.

OMG thats hysterical because on an episode when Regine's mama was acting crazy Khadijah said she was worse than Penny's mama on Good Times...I love those inside jokes lol

Great now need to rewatch that ep because I perhaps don't even recall Khadijah saying that but you are so right about how those inside jokes are good.

It's like when the actor from Fresh Prince made an appearance on Family Matters after a character claimed that both dads resembled one another.
