Im really not a big fan

conan is ...whats the word?... An ass clown. I do watch the show, but many of his jokes fall flat. Like sometimes the audience doesnt laugh AT ALL.

I think you're in the wrong place. You want The Tonight Show with Jay Leno board.

"The best stuff happens when you just don't give a *beep* Conan O'Brien

Yes, Conan has his weaknesses (like the monologue), but there's alot of funny characters and running gags over the years that he can take co-credit for like Triumph, Andy's kid sister, Frankenstein, Polly the NBC peacock, the things they did with those wax Tom Cruise & Fonzie mannequins, and my favourite, the Sausage Party.

Conan isn't great with scripted material. You can see him cringing at some of the written sketches he has to do. But when it comes to ad-libs and improv, he's at his absolute best. Honestly, episodes during the Writer's Strike really show his inherent gift and talent for riffing and bs'ing through a show. I wouldn't mind if entire episodes have Conan messing around New York or talking smack with Max.

A lot of Conan's skits poke fun at allegedly mentally ill people. A lot of the skits and characters are drawn from their fantasies, and it's pretty demeaning stuff. A good friend of mine went through it, and it's left him permanently scarred.

Me, I found a lot of the stuff entertaining, but not always funny. I liked the dog puppet thing, and a few other bits and pieces here and there. I can't say I'm a fan, but there's some stuff that's genuinely funny, some of it is pretty tasteless. Then again it is a late night demographic.
