Reusing tv sets

Has anyone familiar with King of Queens realized (about 85% sure) its the Grace under Fire set? Or at least the kitchen for sure. Even the same purple color and red checkered curtains!

I also know that Laverne and Shirley's living room in Cali became the Two Men and a Boy set. Never watched the show (TMAAB) but saw a commercial one day as they panned from the door and those 4 or 5 stairs and across the living room and was like WOW!!

It's called abbreviating not posing. Wow, what an assuming loser you must be.

Do you mean Two Men and a Baby with the Marlon Bros. There isn't a show called Two Men and a Boy.

reply

I think they mean Two and a half men.
yes they reuse sets all the time! It does look alot like when laverne & Shirley moved to California & graces set was used for more than just the one im sure!

reply

No, actually Two and a half men is what I intended.

Golden Girls had the kitchen set reused from another show. It happens often and is a great way to reduce costs, just redress the set. The stuff can last for decades or until after x number of changes.

Also Fay's ( sister dog groomer) apartment is the same as roseannes mother when she moved to retirement community

Sanford and Son and What's Happening use the same livinging room.

Here's a good one: Batman, Lost in Space and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea all used a lot of the same props and they were all on the air simultaneously.
