I need help finding a movie

When I was younger, my Mom taped the Family Dog and some other show on a tape. I am not sure what Family Dog movie it was, this was long ago and I can't really remember but I am guessing it was the one on Amazing Stories book two, that sounds the most familiar.
I do remember a part in the Family dog when the dog has a bra over his head running through the house if that helps any.
Also on this tape she taped off the television, there was another movie with a hedgehog in it. I have no idea what it is called or what it is about but I just figured maybe it was on one of the Amazing Stories??
I am looking for both of these and if anybody can help me with any of this I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Sarah

I know the Family Dog youre talking about! I have a similar situation - my mom just threw out all the tapes from tv that she made for me - and I am in SEARCH of that episode of FD - he also gets sent to an obedience school, right? I remember they send him away, and then the house gets robbed or something. I have been researching, and all I found were some random episodes from the tv series - not the animated short I remember. If you have any more clues please let me know - you're not alone!

The Family Dog Curse...

I too watched this episode taped off of the TV. My sister and I watched it so many times it may have disintegrated, but none the less has been thrown out by the mom.

I too am here trying to find how to get that origal episode on tape or dvd. More specifically was trying to figure out for sure what it was called and who made it (silly me, I check George Lucas first and even Stephen King).

So here is where to look for it...It's at Amazon.

i know the hedgehog show you are referring to, it was a jim henson production that aired around the same time as amazing stories in the late eighties, that was just one particular episode, the main characters were an older man, who was the narrator/story teller, and his sheepdog, who talked thanks to henson. this is from the henson.com website:
Jim Henson's The Storyteller (1987)

This anthology series features both human actors and creations from Jim Henson's Creature Shop in this retelling of classic folk tales, fables, and legends. The series stars John Hurt in the title role. Aided by his cynical dog, Hurt narrates fascinating tales that combine humor, intrigue, and magic. Academy Award-winning writer/director Anthony Minghella (The English Patient) wrote many of these stories.
