Tale of Two Squirrels

In this show Charlie Adler potrayed two characters—both of them squirrels.
The first was Skippington Screwball "Screwy" Squirrel—a revival of Tex Avery's character, an out-of-control insane asylum escapee squirrel who caused trouble for anyone who wanted to contain him.
The second was Lightning Bolt the Super Squirrel—an interstellar superhero squirrel whose efforts at doing good always caused trouble for anyone around him.

Both had very similar personalities. And neither appeared in each others' episode. And the show did not explain why.

So my question to all those who saw the show and wish to post a response is...are both squirrels one and the same? IS SCREWY SQUIRREL LIGHTNING BOLT THE SUPER SQUIRREL!?!?
